FAQ

No, we never store your Active Directory passwords. Passwords are validated and changed through our Windows Connect application, which you install on a domain connected computer within your network. This creates a reverse SSH tunnel back to our cloud services that enables passwords to be verified when logging in, and updated during password reset, or password change.

Additional credits can be purchased through your tenant after signing up. Credits are available in packages from 25 through to 5000 credits, with per-credit pricing more value as the number of credits purchased in one transaction increases. Feel free to browse our credit prices.

Your credits are initally valid for one year. However, if you still have an unused balance at the end of the year, all you need to do is top them up and they will be re-activated when your new credits are added to your account.

Absolutely! Each month your free credit balance is reset with 10 credits. This is calculated and added to any additional credits you may have purchased.

Yes! we can supply an on-premise version for Enterprise customers that want to deploy Password Express in their own network. Please contact us for more information and pricing. Please note, an on-premise trial version is not available, you should use the cloud service to determine if the software is suitable.

No. You can create users within your Password Express tenant so you do not need to connect it to your Active Directory to evaluate the service. Simply head to the Security->Users section and create a user. You can then use that user just like any imported Active Directory user.

Security Questions are just bad passwords and we do not want our cloud services to store bad passwords. We have an article in our blog that explains why using these should be avoided. If you must use these as an authentication factor, it is only available in our on-premise Enterpride Edition. Please contact us for more information.

The answer to this depends on what you use LogonBox SSPR for. It is comparable for Password Resets, but features such as Active Directory User Management and the SAML Identity Provider are not available.
